Sybil is a globe-trotting, paw-inspiring little felt dog - with a big heart of gold. Together with my good friend, Jaqui Harrison they tirelessly raise awareness of Huntingdon's disease.
May 2019 is Huntingdon's Disease Awareness Month and this Bank Holiday, Jacqui and Sybil have been super busy organising a 'virtual picnic' - I think this is a great idea - quite simply, sharing the love - take a photo of your tasty snacks and raise awareness of Huntingdon's Disease.
It can be a sandwich at your desk or a picnic in the park (or a sneaky pint and peanuts at the pub - our kind of
thinking !)
Most importantly, share your photos on Sybil's Facebook page Sybil on Tour or on twitter @jaq421 or instagram sybil_on_tour
I met the awe-inspiriing Jaqui almost ten years as we cycled from London to Paris. Not knowing anything about
this disease, Jacqui patiently took the time to explain the devastating affects it has on those who have been diagnosed and also on those who are left to care 24 / 7 for their loved
ones.
To request your own super cute Sybil, please contact Jacqui - who I know will be more than happy to help and answer any questions you may have. If you are going off on your travels this
year, why not take a Sybil with you ? She's been all over the world - from London to Las Vegas - but still has plenty of places to explore.... who knows where will she end up!
If you or a loved one have been affected by Huntingdon's Disease or you would like some further information - please take a look at their webite Huntingdon's Disease
Go Jacqui ! Go Sybil - we love you x
