Meet Jo Kelly
Owner and Manager Kelly’s K9s
Reduce Stress, Promote Wellbeing and Enjoy Good Health
For Both You and Your Dog
Established in 2017, my aim is to help you to help your dog - whether this be home from home boarding or building positive, healthy relationships.
I have achieved
my accredited Level 4 Canine Coaching Diploma, with
Distinction, from Canine Principles primarily focusing on how dogs learn, canine body language and communications,
coaching 'good manners' using positive reinforcement techniques and enrichment games to help keep your dog healthy, happy and contented.
My goal for 2021 was to continue my passion for dogs and build on the knowledge I have gathered on my journey.
After six months of intensive studying with the Dog Training College, I am proud to have achieved my Certified Dog Training award.
My plan for 2022 is to offer advice, boarding and coaching.
As simple as A, B and C !
I am
an accredited Level 3 Advanced Canine Body Language Specialist. I have also successfully completed the Reactive
Rascals course - both from the Dog Training College.
These courses have given me a great insight into how your dog is feeling and what he is trying to tell us through subtle body language, facial expressions and behaviours. I have found this particularly helpful mainly when a new customer stays and feels a little anxious in
his new surroundings.
I hold an accredited Level 3 Puppy Training Specialist
qualification from the Dog
Training College. This course has undoubtedly provided in-depth knowledge and understanding of puppy
development, socialisation and training.
The health and wellbeing of your dog is paramount at Kelly's K9s. I hold an accredited Level 2 certificate in Canine First Aid.
We are fully insured, DBS
checked and licensed by Buckinghamshire Council. Our Licence number is: LC201711-923
We are proud to have achieved the 5* higher standards rating. To find out what this means to you and your dog, please view: 5* higher rating - demonstrating our commitment to your dog's health and wellbeing.
With over 10 years' experience in being a responsible dog guardian, I appreciate how being parted from your four legged friend can be a stressful and worrying time. I understand what your dog needs and am more than happy to go that `extra mile` to ensure your dog's health, safety and wellbeing. As you enjoy your time away, I will send you regular 'pupdates' ensuring you can releax in the knowledge your dog is enjoying his holiday too!
